This series is unusual in that the images are based on Audubon's original watercolor paintings, now in the collection of the New-York Historical Society.  The bird designs are exceptionally beautiful, the coloring more subtle and sophisticated than that used in the Adams and Meakin series.

Each plate is rimmed with a leaf pattern in soft pastels with gold highlights.  Contact us for additional information.
