In this area I sell octavo Quadruped prints about which I am not 100 percent sure of edition or which come out of a later edition volume (generally any Volume I dated later than 1849, any Volume II dated later than 1851, and any Volume III dated later than 1854). The authenticity of all prints is completely guaranteed. Prints are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity (COA) and the original text or a copy if the original text is unavailable. I will provide the best information I have on the print, but cannot always guarantee the publication year.
Some prints for sale in this area have toning or staining (primarily in margin areas although some in the image area). Prints can be cleaned for an additional charge if you wish. Cleaning will usually require additional time.
Please contact me for a detailed condition report for any print, specifying plate number, animal name, and the fact that it is a later edition print.
