This particular watercolor composition is unusal in Audubon’s work in that he painted the entire composition –including the birds, the landscape, and the lilies.
There is a strict limitation of 200 copies of each image. Space prevents showing anything but a very small sample of prints, but if you are interested in a specific painting (or the painting for a specific print), please contact me for an image, size information, and price. Plate numbers that include an “A” were not used as part of The Birds of America.
